West Highland Lodge is a friendly family run guest house situated in a unique location within the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National park which is one of the most attractive parts of Scotland.

A relaxed comfortable environment awaits you offering home cooked food using fresh local produce. We ensure a personal service giving a "home away from home" atmosphere providing bed, breakfast and evening meals.

The house is a Victorian lodge built in 1912 and is in an elevated position with wonderful views east to Ben More, Stob Binnein and the surrounding countryside sitting in its own gardens approx 6 acres.

West Highland Lodge is an excellent base for touring Scotland we are centrally located between the villages of Crianlarich and Tyndrum on the A82 "the road north".

Our location offers the perfect touring centre with easy access to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Fort William, Pitlochry and Crieff. Visitors will want to explore the beautiful surrounding areas of Loch Lomond, Rannoch Moor, Glencoe and Loch Awe.

Travel north to Loch Ness and Skye or the famous West Highland Railway Line to Mallaig. Go to the coastal town of Oban and visit Mull or Iona for the day. Explore castles such as Inverary, Doune, and Stirling.

Ideally situated for hiking, cycle touring, canoeing, mountain biking, golfing and walking the West Highland Way (WHW).

There are over 30 Munros accessible from the house. Plenty to keep you occupied - In fact 4 Munros can be done from the house in one day; leave the car and come back knackered after an epic.
